The item shown is the rare "Novelty Vase". This pattern has long been confused
with "Leaf Chalice" and was thought to be made by Northwood. It is now known to
have been made by Dugan. The distinguishing feature about this pattern, are the three
feet in the shape of leaves. Northwood did make a similar pattern which is called
"Maple Leaf Chalice" which has a flat Maple Leaf as a base. See (Maple Leaf Chalice).
