Opalescent Rings (Ribbed Opalescent Rings)
The item shown on the left is the extremely rare "Tumbler" in Vaseline. It is currently the only one known
in this color. On the right are the extremely rare "Pitchers". Cranberry was the only color known for the Pitcher
until this Blue one turned up. So now we know Vaseline could also be found.
In April of 2011, a record price of $9,600.00 was bid at auction for a Cranberry Tankard Pitcher. A Blue one
would be 75% - 80% of this value. Because they are so rare a Blue one could be even more valuable. The bottom
photo shows the only know example of a Sugar Shaker in this pattern. The photos of these beautiful examples have
been sent in from an Oregon collector. It's a real treat to able to show these.

The shape mold used for this Tankard Pitcher is the same shape used for Northwood's "Ribbed Coinspot" pattern.
