The item shown on the left is the Tankard style "Pitcher" made by Northwood.
This pattern was originally made by Hobbs Brockunier, and later by Northwood.
It's possible that the Vaseline set was made by Hobbs. The Tankard is different.
Notice the reeded handle. The Ring in the mid section is missing, and diameter of the base
is much wider.
It has been long thought that this pattern was never made in this Vaseline color
by Northwood. Photos don't lie and here's the proof that Vaseline was made, but I
believe it was made earlier by Hobbs. Quite possibly the only set known to exist in this color.
The photo was sent to me from a private collector. It's a real treat to show it. On the right is
is the ruffled Fruit Bowl. This is often seen sitting in a metal stand as a Brides Bowl.
The bottom photo shows the Ball shaped Pitcher with the flared crimped top.
Note: The Ring Base Mould shape mention in the values here, can be seen by viewing
the "Daffodil" pattern.
