The item shown is the "Ring Neck" style Pitcher. The color is Cranberry.
For years it's been speculated that Northwood was the maker but it's now
known that Beaumont made this pattern. This exact same shape was used
for Beaumont's pattern Daisy in Criss Cross. Just about anything found
in this pattern would be rare and highly desirable.
Note:
A rare catalog for the Tygart Valley Glass Company has surfaced. This company
purchased many molds from Beaumont when they went out of business. In this catalog
this shape is shown in a Coinspot pattern and mentioned that a Serpentine pattern was
also made in this shape along with a Swirl pattern. This is the first time that Arabian Nights
is mentioned in a catalog by the name Serpentine.
