Beaumont Coinspot
The items shown are the "Water Pitcher", the "Rose Bowl" and the "Cruet".
It's recognized by the distinct heavy Opalescence at the top and the bottom
leaving the Coinspot pattern to be shown in the middle area only.
Because of the involved manufacturing process to produce this unique
Opalescent effect, a large amount of glass at the pontil
area had to be removed, and a rather large ground area will be
found on the bottom of the Pitcher. The grind is so large in fact,
that the entire bottoms of the Rose Bowl and Cruet are ground off
completely leaving a concave grind across the entire bottom. Other
reference books mistakenly list this Rose Bowl as being made by Jefferson.
The only items found in this Opalescent effect are a "Water Pitcher"
and "Tumblers", the "Rose Bowl" and this "Cruet" which has recently
turned up. White is the only color they are found in.
