Coinspot is a pattern made by many different companies during the Victorian era.
Shown here are several versions. The item shown is the extremely rare "Water Pitchers".
On the left, made by Dugan, from the "Ribbon Tie" mold, ca. 1907.
The only known Opalescent pattern made in the "Ribbon Tie" mold was Opaline Brocade,
known as Spanish Lace to collectors. Imagine the surprise when a Coinspot design showed up,
in Cranberry no less! Many companies made a "Coinspot" pattern. In the middle, is the extremely rare Tankard in the
"Ribbed Coinspot" pattern by Northwood. See "Ribbed Coinspot". Next is the rare Blue Opalescent
Bar Bottle by Northwood in a "Chrysanthemum Swirl Variant" pattern.
Just when you think you've seen it all, along comes something to knock your socks off. On the right is shown
the extremely rare Bar Bottle in Green Opalescent in the "Chrysanthemum Swirl Variant" shape mould".
Until now, Green was not a known color for this Coinspot Bottle. What a treat to show it. The photo is courtesy
of collector Rich Graham. The Tankard photo was sent in by a collector in Oregon.
Middle row is shown the "Coinspot" Water Pitcher made by Beaumont also quite rare in this shape. The bottom will
have a rather large ground and polished pontil as confirmed by the owner. This is typical with Beaumont production.
The shape of this pitcher is identical to the shape used for Daisy In Criss-Cross.
In the middle is a Pitcher by the Phoenix Art Glass Company. The interior color is Amberina.
On the right is a Pitcher shape that was used by the Dugan Glass Company c. 1907.
The bottom row shows a very rare shape by Northwood in Blue and Green Opalescent.

In the middle is a Tankard Pitcher by the Jefferson Glass Company.
On the right is an extremely rare Tumbler in Blurina
This tapered shape was referred to as a "Juice glass".
