The item shown is the large 9 1/2" ruffled "Bowl". There has been some
confusion about when this pattern was first made. There is one known fact for
certain. The pattern is rare. Recently I purchased one and made an important
find. In the center of the bowl, it is signed faintly with the Dugan Trademark - D
inside a Diamond. This trademark was only pressed on Dugan glass pieces for
2 years. 1907- 1909. This would pretty much explain why this pattern is so rare
in Opalescent colors. Other than a photo, the one I purchased is the first one I've seen in 25 years.
