Coral Reef
The items shown are the "Barber Bottles" in two different bottle shapes. A taller Bitters Bottle
was also made. These photos are courtesy of collector Rick Graham. Below left is shown the rare
"Rose Bowl". On the right is shown the extremely rare Oil Lamp with matching Shade. This pattern
is often times confused with "Seaweed" but they are two totally different patterns. See (Seaweed)

Note: This pattern was originally made by Hobbs Brockunier around 1891 and later reproduced
at the Beaumont Glass Company in 1899. Some of these bottles will be found with ground pontils
and some will not. Since Hobbs was known for grinding pontils on pretty much everything they
blew into a mould, they more than likely made the bottles with ground pontils. Beaumont on the
other hand is known to grind pontils on some things and not on others. So it's possible that Beaumont
made the bottles that do not have ground pontils. Bottles made at either site are considered rare today.
