This is a wonderful old and forgotten type of glass that is both very beautiful and collectable. Over the last
130 years, glass companies all over the world have been producing this type of glass. Many of these companies
have long been out of business. A few are still producing today. I have been collecting for the last 25 years. During
this time, my passion for learning about this type of glass has provided me with a wealth of information. I needed to
have access to this information, so I decided to put it all into one location online and created the
Victorian Opalescent Glass online Price Guide.
This price guide is designed in a way to assist new collectors and seasoned collectors alike. If you want
to collect Antique Opalescent glass, there is no other way to know what's old unless you learn the old patterns. This price
guide will teach you. For each of the pattern names listed, there is at least one photograph that shows what that pattern
looks like. Some patterns may have several photographs showing the same pattern used on different shaped items.
Some photographs will show you what a pattern might look like when it's used on a different item, or stretched out of shape.
Along with each pattern there is a list of all the known items made in the pattern along with the values. It will also tell you who
made the pattern, and when it was made. There are extremely rare pattern names that exist that may not be listed in this price
guide simply because there is no photograph to show what the pattern looks like. As time goes on and photographs become
available, these pattern names will be listed and shown.

Throughout the price guide you'll find early illustrations of the actual items shown. These early illustrations are proof for the age
of these Victorian Opalescent Glass novelties and who made them. There is much confusion and misinformation being distributed
today about these early Opalescent novelties. This guide will help to clear up much of this confusion and misinformation. I welcome
your comments about this price guide. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions, comments, suggestions,
corrections, or additions to this price guide. They will all be considered and appreciated.
