Old Man Winter
The items shown are the "Novelty Baskets". They are known in two different shapes. The large basket on the left, has feet on the bottom, and the smaller basket on the right does not. The larger Basket with the feet is much harder to find.
I have noticed that the feet on the larger basket, closely resemble the feet on "Piasa Bird", however there is no evidence to date to support "Jefferson" as the maker of "Piasa Bird".

Note: In the early ad shown below, notice the "ruffled Bowl" shown bottom right
in the "Coinspot" pattern. In the Catalog it is advertised
as a "Salad Dish". So it becomes clear that these items were marketed for many different uses.
