The item shown is the footed Compote. This pattern is similar
to Spool of Threads which has a Rib design in the top portion and a
Star design in the foot. This Spool mould was never retooled as some believe.
The reason is, both pattern Compotes are seen together in the same Butler Brothers
catelogs dated 1903 and 1904. So it's clear two different moulds were in use at the same time.
