Who Am I My name is Bill Banks now. Back in the early 1990's, I contributed to the very first publication on Carnival Glass put out by Collector Books, and the very first publication on Opalescent glass also put out by Collector Books. I wrote many articles for the Class Collectors Digest, and for 5 years I wrote a monthly column for The Maine Journal of Antiques and Collectibles (MJOAC). The column was called "It was Grandma's". More recently I've written several articles for the West Virginia Museum of American Made Glass magazine AAG All About Glass. My own first edition on Victorian Opalescent Glass was published in 1995. The first six editions were in spiral bound paperback form and they were a value guide only. When computers finally allowed publication of works on CDs the last 7 editions were published in that format complete with color photographs for easy pattern identification and values. In 2011 the Price Guide became available online. It is updated continuously throughout each year. I do not have a brick and mortar store. All of my Antique and Collectible glass for sale is located right here on this website. View the links for the different types of glass that are for sale. There is also a link to my ebay Store which also has a large selection of antique and collectible glass. I'm sure you'll find something you like. Every piece is guaranteed authentic. |
