The item shown is the "Novelty Bowl". Although it's been given the name "Daisy Intaglio",
this pattern had already been named "Western Daisy" by Marion Hartung back in 1963.
The Glass Collector's Digest published my article on this pattern in their Oct/Nov issue 1994, page 80.
Note: The early Dugan ad shown below, shows three different items that Dugan
decided to put handles on and market as baskets. On the left is a basket made
using the pattern Wilted Flowers. In the middle is a basket using the pattern
Diamond & Daisy (also known as Caroline). On the right is a basket using this pattern Western Daisy.
