Herringbone
The item shown on the left is the "Ruffled Salad Bowl" by Northwood. The difference
between this pattern and (Ribbed Herringbone) is obviously the ribs. It is confusing that we find
Cranberry Fritt only on the plain ruffled bowls. It is now known that Northwood did make patterns
with Cranberry Fritt edges. We also find more plain Herringbone pieces with fritt than
ribbed pieces without. This pattern was made around the same time as "Blown Twist"
which is a known Northwood pattern made with Cranberry Fritt.
See (Blown Twist).

On the right is the rare "Cruet" in the "Igloo" shape. This shape is a
product of the Phoenix Glass Company. The photo is courtesy of an
Oregon collector and it's great to be able to show it.

The bottom photo is a recent discovery made this year in January 2016. This is the
ruffled Salad Bowl in Green Opalescent. This pattern has never been known to exist
in the color Green. What a wonderful find and a treat to be able to show it here. Notice
also that it has the Cranberry Fritt edge.
