Melon Optic Swirl
The item shown is the "Ruffled Bowl".
Most often these items are found with a Cranberry Fritt Edge. There is no real
proof that Jefferson was the maker, but it has been attributed to Jefferson because
because of the Cranberry Fritt edge. I believe that Northwood did make this, and it was
one of their patterns along with "Blown Twist" and "Herringbone", both of with have the same
Cranberry Fritt edges.
Note: For years this piece has been attributed to Jefferson
Glass. It's now known to have been made by Northwood.
